This production is a modern version of the original play, which formed the basis for the classic 1967 psychological thriller starring Audrey Hepburn, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. It is set in a basement apartment in Greenwich Village, New York, in 1970.

Susan (blind) – 30s to 40s
Mike – 30s to 40s
Sam – 25 to 35
Carlino – 30s to 40s
Roat – 30s to 40s
Gloria (in the play 12 to 15) – younger female

Open auditions will be held at the theatre on the following dates:
Monday 31 July at 7.30 pm
Thursday 3 August at 7.30pm
Actors will need to attend two to three rehearsal per week.
