Brigadoon is the fantastical story of two New Yorkers, Tommy Albright and Jeff Douglas, lost on a holiday in Scotland, who stumble upon a small mythical village not found on their maps. In Brigadoon they find romance, markets, a wedding and mystery. When Brigadoon is threatened with extinction, the two men help out. And when Tommy falls in love with one of the local girls, he is faced with the predicament of losing her in the mystery of time.
Brigadoon is full of beautiful harmonies, both accompanied and accupella, lovely characters and Scottish dancing. There are major characters, both singing and spoken, dancing and non-dancing, minor characters, and lots of small solo-line work for chorus, both singing and spoken. Most of the chorus will have solo work and small roles to play.
